Field hockey, Place Stravinsky at night

Field hockey is a popular sport in Europe and there are a few leagues in Paris. Through the school's parent association the kids got invited to join one of the beginner leagues; it's not a competitive league, they just practice and play for fun. So last Saturday we went to the Jean Bouin stadium, next to the Parc des Princes at the bottom of the 16th arrondissement, to see if they liked it.

Andrea and Nicolás decided to sign up, and will start attending practice every Saturday for an hour and a half, but Daniela wasn't interested at all.

That afternoon we ended up in the Beaubourg area, where we had a light dinner, and as the day turned into night we enjoyed watching the artwork on the Stravinsky Plaza and the colorful Stravinsky Fountain, which features sixteen quirky moving and water-spraying sculptures that represent themes and works by composer Igor Stravinsky, and then climbing on the Écoute sculpture next to the Saint Eustache church in Les Halles.
